About Us

Talco Plastics, a family owned business, was incorporated in 1994. Our factory is situated in the Plaine Lauzun Industrial estate, which is 5 min away from Port Louis the main Port and capital of the tropical island of Mauritius. The company's main activities are Injection molding, blow molding and mold commissioning.

In the beginning, we started our business with the manufacture of caps and closures so as to replace most of the caps being imported into Mauritius. In due course of time we expanded our field of production to produce other injection molded products, PET performs and bottles, HDPE jerry cans and bottles.

We use German made Arburg injection molders for our caps and closures as well as other product made from engineering plastics such as nylon, ABS and polycarbonate. Our pet bottles are blown on semi-automatic machines and our HDPE bottles on fully automatic machines. We have a small tool room, allowing us to manufacture molds as well as maintain our existing molds.

The company's staff consists of ten members including the director, Mr. Jean Pierre Talbot who has a hands-on-production experience of 12 years on our machines. The whole staff has good command on English and French Languages.

We export our products to Reunion, Seychelles and Madagascar. We cater to the needs of most of our large soap and detergent manufactures as well as certain specialized clients such as the artists paint and paint brush manufacturers, electronic alarm manufacturers and the building industry.

Our motto is "The client comes first". With our past experience we can guide any future client in the designing of his product as well as selecting the right plastic for his product.
